I think GT was 1 of the teams and I believe they had 2 starters

leave the team for whatever reason. Another possible reason is the team may have coaching issues (i.e. coach left the team to accept another job, fired, or left for some other reason, etc.), the number of players available on a roster may be severely reduced (FYI Utah only had 7 active players at the end of the season and I think they rejected the NIT bid), or the team feels so disrespected for being snubbed by the NCAAT (FYI UNC men's basketball team rejected a NIT bid a few years ago because it was NCAAT or bust).
